As a business we are dedicated in making a difference and taking the steps within our business to consistently improve and better ourselves.

Providing a sustainable business that works in harmony with our environment, creating a 360 circular economy business strategy by investing and being aware of how our industry looks too many, we are doing what we can to improve and stand by our ?Plastics company with a conscience?statement.

Our investment within our cooling system and our new in house recycling plant are steps we are taking that support this business strategy, our aim is to improve and be consistent in how we progress as a business.

Recently we have had a major change on our factory floor, changing locations of machinery and implementing systems that reduce plastic waste, our mission to stop plastics going to landfill by commissioning our recycling plant is important to not only the environment and our business, but to those in the area that can benefit.

Recently we met with the BPF and discussed our participation in operation clean sweep.

Operation Clean Sweep? is an international initiative from the plastics industry to reduce plastic pellet loss to the environment.

In the UK it is led by the British Plastics Federation.

The initiative?s aim is to ensure that the plastic pellets, flakes and powders that pass through manufacturing facilities in the UK are handled with the care they deserve and do not end up in our rivers or seas.

By signing up to Operation Clean Sweep?, we as a company are making a commitment to adhere to best practice and begin to implement systems to prevent plastic pellet loss.

It is reported the rivers in the North West and North East are some of the most polluted, we do need to take steps to make a difference and we are committed in the education of all our staff and making these improvements.

It is our goal to be party to this movement.

Operation Clean Sweep? helps companies ensure that plastic pellets are contained on-site, shows that our company is committed to the environment and highlights to others that we are a responsible manufacturer.

Signing up to Operation Clean Sweep? demonstrates how our corporate social responsibility group want to encourage other businesses within our networking group which meets monthly with other businesses within the Haydock Industrial Estate we want to encourage and promote our involvement as widely as possible. Starting with our surrounding area.

Join us in stopping plastic waste from going to landfill and working with us to make a change locally, nationally and internationally. Waste #PP and #HD can be recycled, and we can do this.

Join us in the recycling revolution!
